Winter Cormorants in Bristol

The other week I took the Sony FS5 for a walk around Bristol Harbourside, mainly aiming to do some long lens practice with the plentiful gulls around the city. But I spent a while shooting the cormorants that are usually chilling out to dry on the little pontoon next to the Prince Street Swing Bridge, in between the Arnolfini and M-Shed. I couldn’t resist putting together a little video out of the shots I got. Cormorants mostly still breed on the coast, but many venture inland over winter and I’m sure the #BeastFromTheEast is going to be keeping them in the city for a little longer! If I get the time I’d love to get the camera back there and make something a bit more proper about them! Check out the video below:
